She was predeceased by: her parents, William Houghtaling and Evelyn Houghtaling (Horton); her grandsons, Nicholas Osmin, Richard Trumbul and Earle Houghtaling, III; her sister Darla Black; and her son-in-law Earle Houghtaling, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Charles O. Marlatt; her children, Willard Cole (Jody) of Canisteo, Sherry Osmin (Porfirio "Dave" Vasquez) of Canisteo, Patricia Owen (David) of Woodhull, Cathy Alger (Jeff Witt) of Greenwood, Elwin Marlatt (Denise Curry) of Canisteo and Michael Fox; and her brother-in-law Edward Black of Coudersport. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
