Though Carol may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Hodge and Mary Hodge (Whitney); and her son James Gurnsey Jr.. She is survived by: her husband James Gurnsey; her sons, Mathew Gurnsey (Misty) of Avoca and Mark Gurnsey (Kelly) of Savona; and her daughter-in-law Kate Gurnsey. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Thurston Christian Church (7511 County Rte 333, Campbell, NY 14821).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's name may be sent to Children's Cancer Research or Parkinson Foundation.
