It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Ray of Cairo, New York, born in Hornell, New York, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Ray and Sandra J. Ray (Markham); his aunt Loretta Markham; and his nephew Nick Winans. He is survived by: his daughter Alexa Ray; his stepson Jeremy Metzler; his grandson Tyler; his siblings, Bobby, Jr. (Terri), Joe (Coleen), Lisa Stubbs and Lynn Jones (Tony); and his aunt Lulu Markham.
