It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew P. Carey of Buffalo, New York, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, P. William "Bill" Carey (Michele) and Donna Carey; his sisters, Renee Marko, Kimberly Ashker (Charles) and Julie Carey; his stepsiblings, Lisa Hussainov (Denis) and Robert Pollak (Elizabeth); and his grandmothers, Helen Neumeister (late Frank) and Isabelle Banas (late Paul Carey). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SPCA.
