It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Rita Wade of Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dorothy Rita leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Piller and Louis Piller. She is survived by: her husband Ed; and her children, Gwen Norheim (Dan), Glenn (Linda), Evan (Allison), Mark, Martin and Ross (Diane). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and beloved extended family.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Olph Basilica.
