Bill Karpoich Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2022, at the age of 69, Bill Karpoich of Breezy Point, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Karpoich and Susan O'Rourke Karpoich; his wife Rita; his children, Veronica (Santhy Garcia) and Matthew; his sister Catherine LaPaugh; his nieces, Susan (Bryan) and Elizabeth (Ron); his sister-in-law Susan Tuszynski; his niece Allison (Bill); his nephew Michael (Courtney); his brother-in-law Paul Tuszynski (Jennifer); his niece Emily; and his nephew Ryan. He was also cherished by eight grandnieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in his name to support glioblastoma research being done by Bill's doctor of many years, Dr. Dimitris Placantonakis. Please make checks out to the Department of Neurosurgery at NYU LH and send a note stating that the donation should go to support Dr. Placantonakis's Research Lab.
