It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Dunbar of Binghamton, New York, born in Pleasant Mount, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Gill and Beatrice Roark Gill; her husband Donald Dunbar of Binghamton, NY; her brother John Gill; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Gill and Gerald Tamkins of Binghamton, NY..
She is survived by: her sister Beatrice Tamkins of Binghamton, NY; her children, Robert Dunbar (Pam) of Chapel Hill, Daniel Dunbar (Amy) of Rock Hill, SC, Richard Dunbar (Susan) of West Union, SC, Mary Dunbar (Ruth Vienneau) of Durham and Chris Dunbar (Joelette) of Cary; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Foshee of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Dunbar (Lindsey Bosko-Dunbar), Jessica Dunbar (Jeremy Johnson), Laura Dunbar Hostnik (Eric Hostnik), Michael Dunbar, Allison Canington (Tyler Canington), Asa Dunbar, Travis Dunbar, Sarah Dunbar, Claire Vienneau and Rayven Vienneau.
