He was predeceased by: his parents, Dimitri Maniatis and Georgia Maniatis; his siblings, Nicolas Maniatis of Montreal and Maria Lambrinos (James Lambrinos) of Endicott, NY; and his brother-in-law Demetrios Vorgias of Sparta, Greece..
He is survived by: his wife Ada Stamatakos Maniates; his sons, James Maniates (Ingrid) of Binghamton, NY and Peter Maniates (Sheila) of Conklin, NY; his grandchildren, Steven Maniates (Devan) of Albany, NY, Alex Maniates (Siddhant) of Boston, MA, Daniel Weber (Alyssa) of Ithaca, NY, Jacob Weber of Caratonk, ME and Madeline Weber; his sisters, Potoula Dounia (George) and Anna Vorgias of Sparta, Greece; his sister-in-law Dina Maniatis of Montreal; and his sister Theo. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, many nephews, nieces and cousins.
