She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Parow and Jessie Parow; her former husband Kenneth Thurston; and her daughter Sharonelle Doane. She is survived by: her husband Thomas C. Pierce; her children, Lucinda Hart of Elmira and Kent Thurston (Rachel) of Watkins Glen; and her grandchildren, Samuel Brouwere, Allison Brouwere, Trevor Thurston, Colby Thurston and Madison Brouwere.
