He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandson Richard III; his wife Michelle; his children, Richard Stagles II (Alexandria Fredette-Stagles), Samantha Stagles and Jacob Stagles; his grandchildren, Richard Stagles III (Richie), Ashlyn Fredette-Stagles and Greyson Fredette-Stagles; and his siblings, Neil (Stacy), Pat, Michael, Lawrence, Melissa Knittle, Gerald and Robert (Karla Matteson). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
