It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Gaitanis (Bayside, New York), who passed away on April 14, 2018, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Matthew Gaitanis; her children, Carol Gaitanis, Christine Tsivikas (George) and John Gaitanis (Rosaria); her grandchildren, Michael Tsigakos, Panagiotis Tsivikas, Matthew Tsivikas, George Tsivikas, Isabella Gaitanis and Matthew Gaitanis; and her siblings, Stelios Moundakis (Nadia), Ioanna Moundakis, Elisavet Drossos and Chrissoula Lekkas. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
