He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Jeffrey Potter (Deborah) and Christopher Potter; his grandchildren, Courtney Potter, David Gilbert (Amber Napora), Timothy Gilbert, Kate Semple (Kris), Noah, Ryan, Jake and Alexa Potter; his great grandchild Seth Semple; his siblings, Charles Potter, Marilyn Thurston (Bud) and Joyce Adcock (Joe); and his sister-in-law Pat Potter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
