“I had the pleasure of caring for Gary several times in his last days. I saw a guitar in his room and he let me play it. We sang several Beatles songs, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band songs, among others, together. Although those last days were hard for him, he managed to smile while listening to me play his beautiful guitar.
