He was predeceased by: his father Thomas F. Griffey; and his grandparents, Glen and Grace Schamehorn. He is survived by: his mother Edith A. Griffey (Schamehorn) of Ashville; his daughter Morgan A. Griffey of Jackson; his sister Angela Sager of Bexley; his stepchildren, Maria, Ely and Deborah Stamm; his half-brother Thomas Griffey Jr. of Circleville; his nephews, Jacob and Caleb Sager; and his close friend Ian Harris.
