She was predeceased by: her parents, William FF Barnes and Helen Whitaker Barnes; her siblings, Jean Weeks and Walter Barnes; her son Damian Rieg; and her granddaughter Victoria Rieg.

She is survived by: her husband Louis E Rieg; her children, Mark Rieg (Theresa) and Gretchen Parker (Lane); her grandchildren, Ricky Jervah, Jennifer Jervah, Joshua Rieg (Rebecca), Catricia Rieg and Cassandra Rieg; and her great grandchildren, Freddy Lamb, Christine Lamb and Ophelia Rieg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Chautauqua County Humane Society.
