With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Burdette F. Gifford Sr. (Ashville, New York), born in Columbus, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 19, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his siblings, William E. Gifford, Victor A. Gifford, Merle Gifford and Anna May Butcher; and his granddaughter Rindy M. Gifford.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth D. Gifford of Jamestown, Randy E. Gifford (Wanda), Burdette F. Gifford Jr., Gene E. Gifford, Richard N. Gifford (Tara) and Matthew L. Gifford of Ashville. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren.
Public visitation will be held Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 2-4pm at Lind Funeral Home where face masks must be worn and social distancing observed.
