She was predeceased by: her parents, William Runge and Mary Gertrude Runge (Wesler); and her brother William. She is survived by: her husband George Appleton of Ionia, NY.; her daughter Mary Brownell of Canisteo; her grandchildren, Jessica Barnum (Anthony) of Pompy, NY, Sarah Hager (Jon) of Fayetteville, NY, Rebecca Mirdamadi (Amir) of Raleigh, NC and Kevin Mazanec (Cheris) of Hornell; her great grandchildren, Timothy Barnum, Trevor Barnum, Ethan Barnum, Elizabeth Barnum, Emmit Hager and Anderson Hager; her sister-in-law Barbara Runge of Shakopee, MN; and her niece Lisa Engelhart (Mitch) of Roswell, GA.
Ginny's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to the Hornell YMCA or to the Hornell Public Library.
