Virginia L. Bates Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2022, at the age of 74, Virginia L. Bates in Arkport, New York, born in Rochester, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leonard Nuijens and Ferne Suss Nuijens; her husband Bob; her son Christopher (Isabel); and her brother Tom (Peggy). She was also cherished by cats, sheep, neighborhood children and other animals.
Ginny requests no calling hours and that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to the Hornell Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, NY 14843. And if you are buying, she will have an iced tea as well.
