He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Howland (Lynch) and Clifford Howland; his parents-in-law, Marie Aldrich and Frank Barnhart; his brother Charles Howland; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Howland, Paul G. McCormick, Robert Barnhart and Patricia Dolan Behn; and his nephew Michael Howland.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Howland (Barnhart); his children, Deborah Dibble (Michael) of Andover, Christine Todd of Andover, Joseph Howland (Julie) of Dawsonville, Douglas Howland of Lockport, Patrick Howland, Jr. (Janene) of Andover and Bradley Howland (Melissa) of Frisco, Texas; his grandchildren, Samantha Kephart (Daniel), Sarah Dillon (Joseph), Madeline Todd, Lauryn Howland, Anna Howland, Hunter Howland, Holden Howland, Cole (Erika), Tracy, Gretta Howland, Grace Howland and Brooklyn Howland; his great grandchildren, Joseph Kephart, Jack Kephart, Juliet Dillon and Malcolm Dillon; his siblings, Charity McCormick of Andover, Mary Howland of Irvine, Calif. and Michael Keith Howland (Ann) of Kennebunk, Maine; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Ford (Dave), Barbara Hoagland, Doris Baker, Ken Behn (Carol), Leslie Behn and Lowell Behn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
