He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Apholz and Mary Myers Apholz. He is survived by: his daughters, Lexi and Lexus Apholz-Frederick of Broadalbin; his siblings, Monica Kenyon of Gloversville, Tammy Apholz of Nashville, TN, Robert Apholz, Jr. of Greenville, SC and Randall Apholz of Central, SC; his cousin Rebecca Briggs of Canajoharie; his niece Shauna Slack of Gloversville; his great-nephew Drew Cionek of Gloversville; and also Ashley Calhoun-Frederick. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, a local animal rescue, or to a charity of choice, in care of the funeral home.
