He is survived by: his wife Kimberly (Dlugosz Emhart); his children, Christopher James Sawicki (Jennifer), Veronica Gillman (Daniel), Anne Sawicki, Laura Kulbako (Matthew), Cassandra Norton (Joshua) and Don Overbaugh; his grandchildren, James Sawicki, Jeremy Sawicki, Tristan Zito, Ainsley Sawicki, Landon Sawicki, Maverick Walsh, Justin Kulbako, Natalia Kulbako, Alexys Garbo and Gabriel Garbo; and his siblings, Richard Szurek, Marguerite Diane Sawicki, Rosanne Magagnos, Gwen Cole (John), Mary Zeglen (Joseph), Michael Sawicki (Linda), John Sawicki (Debra), Tim Sawicki and Annette Stone (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“In loving memory of Christopher J. Sawicki, I was so very sorry to hear about Chris! I worked side by side with him many years ago at Price Chopper.I am sorry we lost touch. He was sooo very smart and so very stubborn! Once he had his mind set on something it was hard to change that. You really had to have a scientific formula to present to him to change his mind. I remember his vast knowledge of David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust and of The Boss Bruce Springsteen.I am so very sorry he is gone.”
