She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin McClary and Anna Teller McClary; her daughter Kathleen Drenzek; her sons-in-law, Al Drenzek and Edward Austin; and her brother Martin McClary.

She is survived by: her husband Terrance Mahoney; her children, Terrance Mahoney (Marianne), Elizabeth Austin, Maggie Nolan, Susan Grasso (Scott), Mary Funkhouser, Shannon Hoogkamp (William) and Heather Mendez (Jason); and her grandchildren, Tara Drenzek, Colleen Conway, Jason Austin, Jennifer Goodwin, Kelly Nolan, Danielle Grasso, Emily Sempf, Ryan Mahoney, Riley Mahoney, Dean Greenwood, Katie Sulo, Isabella Bloss, Juliana Bloss and Nick Bloss. She is also survived by great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Memorial gifts in Betty Lou's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110.
