With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Owen L. Murray (Altamont, New York), born in Lake Placid, New York, who passed away on January 22, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo Murray and Irene Murray of Chateaugay; his wife Myrtle of Altamont; his children, Laurin Trainer, Mark Murray and Kim Bessette (Tom) of Delmar, NY.; his daughters-in-law, Carol Trainer of Clarence and Cindy Creasy of Duanesburg, NY; his siblings, Nina Morgan of Chateaugay, Julia Casey of Fort Edward, Garth Murray of Bath and Glenn Murray of Cheyenne; his grandchildren, Jason Trainer (Marie) of Spencerport, Britt Eliott (Hector) of Hout Bay, South Africa, Elena Murray, Connor Murray and Jenna Bessette of Delmar; his great grandchildren, Mya, Seth, Breah Trainer, Elizabeth and Sasha Eliott; his son Don Trainer of Clarence; and his siblings, Leta Lobdell of Chateaugay and Craig Murray of Buffalo. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Altamont Fire Department or Altamont Reformed Church.
