It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Kotmel (Altamont, New York), born in Montour Falls, New York, who passed away on January 31, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Kotmel and Grace Kotmel Drew; his son David Kotmel; and his sister Emilie McKown. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie of Guilderland, NY; his son Allan V. Kotmel, Jr. of Leesburg, VA; his grandchildren, Alexander and Melina Kotmel of Leesburg, VA; and his sister Bettie Palmer (Al) of Schoharie, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allan's memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or The Community Hospice.
