He is survived by: his wife Barbara Soplop; his brother Studio; his children, Peter Wintermantel (Cassi) of Beacon and Gretchen Rooney (Sean) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Edward Wintermantel, William Wintermantel and Alma Rooney; his siblings, Daniel Wintermantel (Leslie) of Pittsburgh, PA, Mikel Wintermantel (Cheryl) of Allegany and Mary Elizabeth "Prim" Rennick (Richard) of Crystal Beach, TX; his sisters-in-law, Suzanne Finn (Joseph) of Allegany, Margaret O'Connor (Michael) of Syracuse and Edna Wintermantel of Allegany; and his cousins, Carmen Soplop, Mary Jo Reed, Kathy Stevens, Peer and Tripodi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
