He was predeceased by: his father Orville W. Johnston; his parents-in-law, Carl and Corinne Atwell; and his granddaughter Olivia Johnston. He is survived by: his mother Joan Johnston; his wife Jeanne Atwell Johnston of Andover, NY.; his children, Owen Johnston (Kristy) of Honeoye Falls, NY, Jeffrey Johnston (Val) of Chatham, IL and Angela Honeck (Jason) of Allegany, NY; his grandchildren, Evelyn, Orion Johnston of Honeoye Falls, NY, Hunter, Ella Johnston of Chatham, IL, Madison, Kennedy and Hudson Honeck of Allegany, NY; his sisters, Marj Myers (Joe) of White Pine, TN and Melody Jones of Haines City, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Pat, Lisa Atwell of Quincy, IL, Ben, Eileen Palmer of Alfred, NY and Suzanne Atwell (Roanne Kovach) of Penfield, NY. He is also survived by his father-in-law, sons, son-in-law, and eventually his grandsons.
