With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. Mecca Jr. of Allegany, New York, born in Rome, New York, who passed away on December 2, 2020 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph J. Mecca, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Theresa Stanizzi Mecca of Rome; his wife Linda M. Salvucci; his close friends, Mark Haskell, John and Lori McCarthy; his friends, Barb Seaton and Don Gleason; and his siblings, Dawn Heffron (Michael) of Portsmouth, NH, Anthony Mecca (Nora) of Tijeras, NM, Karen Stapleton (Richard) of Rome, Salvatore Mecca (Colleen) of Middletown and David Mecca (Joann) of Rome. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
