He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Signe Tuveson Schreiber, Sr.; his wife Eugenia E. "Jeanne" Freiberg; his grandson Matthew Asis; and his sisters, Bernice Latham and Florence Martiny.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Kalman (Robert) of Allegany and George "Jake" Schreiber, III (Caroline) of Allegany; and his grandchildren, Aaron Asis, Daniel Asis, George Schreiber, IV (Rachael), Luke Schreiber (Jessica), Emily Schreiber (Ed Hill) and Claire Schreiber (Brem Stoner). He is also survived by 2 great grandsons; 6 great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
