He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Labrador; his parents, Helen Dyte (Truxes) and Allan R. Dyte; and his sisters, Elizabeth A. Schmidt (Bruce), Priscilla Pfenninger (Arthur), Susan Dyte Carrick, Deborah Dyte and Margaret Wareham (James). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
