He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Kast and Ruth Kast (Chapman); his wife Evelyn Kast (DeNagel); his siblings, Elsie Plumb (Howard), Evelyn Weisenborn (Roy), Marjorie Hubbard (Lloyd) and Rolland Kast (Anita); and his siblings-in-law, Raymond DeNagel (Connie) and Ruth Kast.
He is survived by: his sons, David Kast (Kathy) and Paul Kast; his grandchildren, John Kast (Cheryl), Laura Kaczmarek (Tom) and Brett Kast (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Kennedy Smelski, Tyler Kast, Sierra Kast, Logan Kast, Lea Kaczmarek, Brantley Kast and Easton Kast; and his brother Lavern Kast. He is also survived by extended family members, friends.
