He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Onalie Ross; his granddaughter Avery Erin Ross (Matthew Johnson); his great grandchildren, Ryan W. Grier and Corporal Dawson E. Taylor; his great great grandchild Julianna Marie Grier; his nephew Charles Pettit; and his niece Ann Pettit.
