He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl L. Gurnsey and Edith Gurnsey (Morse); his sister Kay Schults; his granddaughter Tiara Fugate; and his son Philip L. Gurnsey.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gurnsey (Dawson); his children, Randy Gurnsey (Nina), Sandra Dawley (Marvin) of Albion and Suzanne Fugate (Todd Grimes) of Albion; his sister Marilyn Rouse; and his siblings-in-law, Art Beach and Pat Beach. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
