He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Massaro and Alice Massaro (Monacelli); his wife Cathy Massaro (Cusimano); and his friend Cryil Huze. He is survived by: his sons, Michael of Albion and Marc Massaro of Medina; his grandson Peter Massaro of Albion; his brother John Massaro (Jane) of Florida; and his close friends, Brenda and Jack Deagazio. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

“Tony was an amazing man he entered our lives as a man sent by Medicare to renovate our house after my stroke. Almost instantly he became extended family. Tony made it his personal mission to make me as safe as possible. He became both friend and protector. Two day's before he crossed he texted my wife to say goodbye my friend. We were able to get a few texts in we were so sad we were not permitted to visit him in his final days, We miss him so much.”
