It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John B. Routledge (Akron, New York), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on April 25, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Routledge and Naomi Routledge (Barrett). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Routledge (Scanlon); his children, Mary Christensen (Dale) and John Routledge, Jr. (Kristin); his grandchildren, Karlie Routledge, Thomas Routledge (Kelsie) and Robert Routledge (Olivia); his great grandchild Avianna Routledge; and his sister Naomi Strickland (Lloyd). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship, where his name is listed on a wall of the Lions Club International Foundation Headquarters, in Oak Brook, Illinois.
