She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Carney and Leona Carney; her nephew Jamie; her pets, Collies and Richard; her grandfather Tom; her children, Lee Ann Colegrove Gallagher, Julie Colegrove Glick, Tod Colegrove PhD and Michael Colegrove; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Nick, Daniel and Maggie Gallagher. She was also cherished by ten great grandchildren.
