It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clarence John Wendt (Reno, Nevada), born in Indio, California, who passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Wendt and Clarence Wendt; his wife Carol; his children, Sandy of Reno and C. J. of Las Vegas; his grandchildren, Jack and Katie; and his brothers, Pat Wendt of Reno and Mike Wendt of Gilroy, CA.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the Geological Society of Nevada Foundation 2175 Raggio Parkway, Room 107, Reno, NV 89512, which helps provide educational opportunities to young geology students.
