She is survived by: her parents, James Weldon Hicks and Edna Louise Crawford-Hicks; her children, Michele Gandee of Vista, John Montville of Escondido, Maia Ray of Sedona, Maria Kalber of Las Vegas and Eric Edenfield of Santa Rosa; her brother Brian Hicks; and also Janey Lou Patricia "Pat". She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
