She was predeceased by: her former husband Anthony Gallo; her husband Kermit Mathena; her parents, Eugene Pugliese and Stella Pugliese; and her siblings, Lillian, Eugene and Josephine.

She is survived by: her brother Leon; her children, Barbara (late Michael Breglia), Anthony Gallo (Laura) and Ronald Gallo (Debbie); her grandchildren, Richard, Thomas, Renée, Erika, Anthony, Joseph, Ronald and Megan; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Nathaniel and Capulet; and her great great grandchild Leighton.
