He was predeceased by: his parent Retta; his siblings, Jenny, Ester, Anna, Ruby, Eva, Carl and Gussie; and his daughter Sandie Carlgren.

He is survived by: his wife Audrey; and his children, Edna, Ronnie and Rick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
