He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Regan and Alvina Regan; his brother Thomas; and his daughter Rebecca. He is survived by: his daughter Ellen Gustufson; his wife Ellen; his former wife Lyn Olsen; his child Rori Regan-Buckner; his sons-in-law, Shawn Buckner, Ryan Regan (Jennifer), Robb Regan (Jossianne), Mark Gustafson (Deb) and Stacy Abbot (Geno); his sisters, Ann Hendricksen and Joan Weber; and his grandchildren, Garrett Buckner, Gannon Buckner, Payton Regan, Averi Regan, Santiago Regan, Brianna Regan and Aubrie Abbot. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Stray Hearts Taos Animal Shelter and Disabled American Veterans.
