It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Manuelita Ordonez of Silver City, New Mexico, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Emiliano Ordoñez; her husband Joe Monge; and her mother Rita M. Ordoñez (Medrano). She is survived by: her sisters, Angie Andazola (Richard) of Phoenix, AZ and Gloria Maya of Tyrone; and her children, Richard O. Morones of Silver City, Carlos O. Morones of Hurley, Gilbert O. Morones (Julia) and Rita M. Chavez (Bodie) of Silver City. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step-grandchildren.
