It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Pruit (Silver City, New Mexico), born in Fort Bayard, New Mexico, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Elene Eaton of Llano, TX; his parents, Lou Pruit and Azel Pruit; and his brother Bud Pruit. He is survived by: his grandsons, Ronnie Pruit, Nathan Gonzales, Justin Gonzales and Aaron Perez; his children, Jake Pruit, Sharon Gaylene Long and Tammy Perez; and his brother Dale Pruit. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
