He was predeceased by: his father Donald Strange; his son Johnnie; his grandmothers, Dorothy Blalock and Pat Pierce; his uncle Jon Strange; and his cousin Steve Strange.
He is survived by: his mother Kathryn Strange; his brother Chris Strange; his children, Ashley Benjamin (Tron), Katie Rolon (Wilson), Donald Strange, Samantha Strange (Aaron) and Lonnie Lee Strange; his close friend Vera Strange; his sister-in-law Kristy Shoefstall; and his aunts and uncles, David, Margaret Strange, Patricia Strange, Charles and Judy Strange. He is also survived by two nieces and six cousins.
