She was predeceased by: her parents, Luthor Lewis and Olivia Ogas Lewis; her husband Rudy L. Chapin Jr.; and her brother Jay Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Joshua R. Chapin (Mikela) of Albuquerque, Jerome I. Chapin (Stephanie Gallegos) of Albuquerque, Chastidy K. Chapin (Stephanie Sanchez) and Crystal R. Baca (Bobby); her grandchildren, Rudy III, Dylan, Alysa, Alex, Khloe, Rick, Nicholas, Danielle, Zaiden, Brian, David and Keanne; and her siblings, Leroy Lewis of Silver City, Billy Ray Lewis (Debbie) of Silver City, Jerry Lewis of Las Cruces, Rick Lewis (Anna Reyes), Alfred Lewis (Roseann) of Silver City, Patrick Lewis of Silver City, Ronnie Lewis of Silver City and Denise Jaurequi (Ruben) of Arenas Valley.
