She was predeceased by: her parents, Serapio Chacon and Sarah Chacon; her husband Robert T. McDonald; her children, Alice Lopez, Flora Miller, Frances McDonald and Eddie McDonald; and her grandson Jeffery McDonald.

She is survived by: her children, Norma Espinosa (Dionisio) of Anthony, TX and Robert McDonald Jr. (Molly) of Deming; and her grandson Jeremy McDonald (Elisha). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
