He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Helen Saiz; and his siblings, Fulgencio Saiz, Tony Saiz, Nick Saiz, Juanita Saiz, Charlene Saiz and Marlene Tenorio.
He is survived by: his children, Alfred Saiz-Buchanan (Ryan), Sharon Saiz and Wilfred Saiz; his grandchildren, Marena Tarin, Sheila Saiz and Mark Saiz; and his siblings, Manuel Saiz (Velma), Ruben Saiz (Chavela), Luis Saiz (Rose), Pablita Chavez (Joe) and Gloria Gallegos (Leroy).
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Social Distancing guidelines, services were private and limited to the immediate family.
