She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Stephens and Frances Stephens (Smith); and her sister Lori Slaybaugh. She is survived by: her husband Phil Hermanns; her children, Kara Hermanns (Casey Wolverton) of Denver, CO, Duncan Hermanns (Nadine) of San Diego, CA, Gregg Hermanns of New Orleans, LA and Grant Hermanns (Amy) of New Jersey; and her granddaughters, Riley and Harper (Monroe Hermanns). She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate charitable donations in her name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Purdue Center for Cancer Research.
