She was predeceased by: her parents, Theresa Rivera and John Rivera; her husband Manuel Apodaca; her sons, Robert and Rodney Apodaca; and her siblings, Patricia Yardley and Levi Rivera.

She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Apodaca of Fountain; and her siblings, David Leroy Rivera of Raton and Mary Lou Quakenbush of Denham Springs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
