With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rowena Layton (Raton, New Mexico), born in Del Norte, Colorado, who passed away on June 26, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hoffman-Cummings and Bertha Hoffman-Cummings; her husband John; and her children, John Lee Layton and Carolyn Layton.
She is survived by: her children, Lucy Valadez (Gabriel) of Raton, Michael Layton Sr. (Wendy), Rodney Layton (Anna) of Clearwater and Harold Layton of Raton; and her sister Lucienne Penka of Tulsa. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
