She was predeceased by: her husband David Chavez; her parents, Leon and Glenna; and her brother Paul. She is survived by: her children, Marcella (Anthony) and Eric (Art); her granddaughters, Jessica and Megan; and her siblings, Tom (Kay), Joe (Phil), Monica (Steve) and Martha (Julian). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arts and Humanities Council at 145 S First St, Raton, NM.
